This book explores the act of writing and its many roles in the Study of Religion. It examines writing as a tool and technique, from research notes and field diary entries to the publication of scientific articles and monographs. The book further inspects the role of creative writing in religious studies, and its use to break free from otherwise restrictive conventions of academic writing.
